Culture.
The 10th
anniversary of Crimean Tatar library named after Bekir Choban-zade was solemnly
held in Karasubazar (Belogorsk).
People shared their
warm and kind feelings to library founders and spoke about their enthusiasm in
building this temple of knowledge and center of culture.
The names of
people, who donated thousands of books to the library, were listed with a great
pleasure.
The library has
managed to create a rich collection of Crimean Tatar issues during these ten
years. The library book fund accounts for 1000 issues. The library actively
popularizes issues published in the native language, on history, culture and
art, of the Crimean Tatar people. They organize various "workshops"
and seminars in the library, devoted to prominent Crimean Tatar public figures,
writers and scientists.
